Character interview with Fredrik from Linna Drehmel's H.E.A.R.T Saga
Today we are joined by the gorgeous Fredrik from The
H.E.A.R.T. Saga, The Choice by Linna Drehmel, I have just read this book and
loved it, I loved Fredrik’s character, You will find my review at the end of
this interview.
Hi Fredrick, Nice to meet you, I am so glad you could join
us today,
I am trying to not give any spoilers in these questions, so
Please tell me off, if I give anything away,
How are things with you now? I have just finished your book,
I love the HEART, she really looks after her children doesn’t she?
Always! She has been
our mother and protector for more than a thousand year! That is devotion!
Will we be seeing anymore of you? I understand that the
author has another book in this series, will you be in that one?
Oh for sure! I will be
in book three called The Secrect. I as always stand by my best friend Symon in
serving the children of the HEART.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Well to be honest for
the longest time my guilty pleasure was romantic love. As servants of the HEART
we were not allowed to have that kind of love. We as servants of the HEART were
supposed to just love everyone equally kind of like jedi but all that changed
in book two The Choice. So I will have to find another vice! Hahaha!
Or something you really miss from your previous world or on
the ship?
Safety and stability.
I love this new planet for sure, it is a beautiful place but there is so much
unknown and the unknown can be dangerous.
What would you change about yourself if you could?
To be honest it is an
event. I wish I had not gone mad. It is the horrifying memory in my head that
will never go away. I have to live with the things I did when I was mad.
What is your favourite thing to do in your world?
I like to walk at
sunset. All the colors of the sky are so amazing.
Is there anything that has been written about you that you
wish hadn’t been put on paper? Something embarrassing perhaps?
I am a bit of a
trickster. I have pulled my share of pranks on Symon and others when I was
younger. *smiles* but don’t Jayelle!
What is your favourite item of clothing? What do you wear?
My black robes that
marks me as a servant of the HEART.
If you could be anyone in the world, who would you be &
why?
I spent a horrifying
period of time being mad, not knowing who I was. So I am happy to know who I
am. I am happy to be me.
So how is life for you now? Without giving away too many
spoilers of course,
There is a lot of hard
work on Choice to prepare for the upcoming cold season but to sum up my life
right now I would say, happy.
If your story was made into a film, who would you want to
play you?
Well when my author
created me she kind of had this image of Jerry Trainer in her head but now she
has a thing for this model by the name of Justin Fellers and I hear her say
that he would make a very good me.
He really is gorgeous, I can see why Linna really likes him,
I really enjoyed the world that Linna has created for you
and the rest of the characters of the HEART, Is there anything you would like
to see added to your world?
FACEBOOK! HAHAHAHA!
I love all the characters in the HEART Saga, Will there be
any novella to go with the series about your life now or maybe Idmund & his
new life,
The only thing there
is right now is a little collection of three short back stories called Little
sins. It is what us servants of the HEART went through just before book one.
But I don’t know if my author has anything planned at the moment. I guess it
all depends on her muses and what they inspire her to do. Right now she is
working on a scifi novel called When You Fall that was inspired by William Control
and Ashestoangels. Really good stuff but I think she needs to get to work on
book three!

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Bullies, pirates (art
thieves not Johnny Deep) and spiders.
All time favourite movie? Or top 3?
This depends on my mood! I love all kinds of movies but
currently my favorites are Iron Man 1&2, The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes
1&2
Favourite song or music?
Music is everything to me. I have my muses that I need to
write with. I have music playing 24/7. Here is my short list…
Obscure Pleasures, Ashestoangels, Evilyn, Ugly Love,
Fearless Vampire Killers, William Control, Depeche Mode.
Coffee or Tea or Soda?
Vanilla Cappuccino in the winter
Cold green with peppermint or Black tea with cinnamon always

Favourite Colour?
Black
Chocolate or Candy?
Candy. I do love chocolate but I gave it up for a friend.
Pj’s onsies, nightdress or naked?
*blushing* That would depend on the time of year and if I
had anyone in bed with me.

The Review
I haven’t read the first in this series but I have read
Little Sins, The prequel, I wanted to see if you could read the second book
without reading the first, yes you can, I think it helped that I had read the
prequel though, but after the first couple of pages, I understood what was
going on, I will now be reading the first in the series, I am also really
looking forward to the third book, I also am hoping that there will be some
novella’s in this series, so that I can read more about the various characters,
Quite a few of them stuck out for me and I would love read more about them, I
won’t mention the couples names as I don’t want to give any spoilers, but once
you read this, you will understand who I mean, the characters had real sudstance,
especially Fredrik, He was the hero for me,
the plotline was brilliant, I love the world that the author welcomed us
into, very different to what I have been use to, I would highly recommend this
book to anyone after a little something different, I would give it a great big
5/5
