Summary: Documentary producer, Pearl Robinson, is a
beautiful and smart forty year-old divorcee but has not had a date for over two
years. When she hears about Alexandre Chevalier, a young French, Internet
success story, she assumes he is a nerd. But when she bumps into him face to
face she’s stunned by his charm, beauty and sophistication, and startled by her
strong feelings and desire for a man fifteen years her junior. His looks,
wealth and worldwide triumph with his social media site, HookedUp, means he can
get any woman he chooses, but there is something about Pearl he finds
irresistible…
The couple begins a passionate affair and Pearl’s body is
awakened in ways she never imagined possible. She is consumed by him and his
magical touch. But secrets, jealous family members and other external forces
are threatening to pull them apart.
Erotic, humorous, and profoundly tender, Forty Shades of
Pearl is a story that will stir your heart, rouse your emotions and touch your
soul.
The Review
Ok, this was a great book, Pearl was such a great character,
We all have traits about ourselves that we hate, but poor Pearl had so many
more to cope with, that she won me over from the start. Alexandre was so
perfect, loaded, gorgeous, body to die for and a god in the sack, what more could
a girl ask for? OK maybe not a psychotic sister, but that just added to the
story,The sex scenes were just how I like them, hot heavy and very sensual when
the time was right, I loved the fairytale aspect to this book, the great hero,
the female lead who had traits she did not like about herself, the evil family
member, I would highly recommend this to all who love a great love story with
Sex, that would be most of us then, 5/5

Summary: This is BOOK TWO of The Pearl Trilogy. It is not
stand-alone. If you have not read Forty Shades of Pearl (Part 1) you really
need to do that first to get the maximum out of this book's plot and character
development for the best reading experience possible.
Pearl Robinson feels like the luckiest woman in the world.
In just a couple of months she is to be married to the man she's head over
heels in love with: the wonderful and charismatic Alexandre Chevalier, fifteen
years her junior and founder of the billion dollar social media sensation,
HookedUp.
She is planning a white winter wedding in Lapland - the
stuff that dreams are made of. Everything is perfect, not least her haute
couture wedding gown designed especially for her.
But Pearl is convinced that Alexandre's sister and business
partner, Sophie Dumas, has other, darker ideas.
And the shadows of Pearl's past come back to haunt her in
ways she could never have imagined...
The Review
Well, Well, Well, I loved the first book in this series, the
author made me feel like part of the book & this one was no exception, I
was hooked from the beginning of this one, It had twists & turns which you
don’t normally expect from an erotic fiction novel, Pearl is still a very
complex character, with even more issues that was not apparent in the first
book, Alexandre is still the sex god & more, just like he was in book 1,
but the one thing I was not entirely happy about, That damn cliffhanger, it
totally struck me dumb, Really was not what I was expecting, I am not changing
my mind I really love Alexandre and I think that he has been played, just a
little, I can’t say too much because of spoilers, so you will just have to get it,
to see what I mean, I am really excited for book 3, coming out very soon,
Highly recommended to all, buy the whole series you won’t be Sorry, 5/5
Book 3 Shimmers of Pearl will be out February 16th
